The Medical Supplies Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the proper management of all medicines, medical supplies and equipment, monitoring their consumption and ensuring proper records are maintained and reports on consumption prepared and submitted regularly.
Key Duties:

General description of the role:
The primary role of the Assistant WASH Coordinator is to manage and supervise the implementation of WASH projects in North Darfur and oversee implementation of construction projects in North Darfur state in both Kutum and Alwaha localities and beside any additional GOAL intervention area require technical support. Oversee and manage the construction of facilities and ancillary buildings for program and operations departments, such as Health, WASH (as per work plan agreed with AC), FSL, Logistics to accepted Sudanese and GOAL standards and relevant Ministry specifications.
Key Duties:
Supervise all engineering works to be carried out by GOAL in North Darfur associated with Water, Sanitation, and related projects. This will include, but is not limited to; design, tendering, supervision of contractors and commissioning of works.

Oversee and manage the construction of facilities and ancillary buildings for program and operations departments, such as Health, WASH (as per work plan agreed with AC), FSL, Logistics to accepted Sudanese and GOAL standards and relevant Ministry specifications.
Key Duties:
Supervise all engineering works to be carried out by GOAL in North Darfur associated with Water, Sanitation, and related projects. This will include, but is not limited to; design, tendering, supervision of contractors and commissioning of works.
Serve as the focal point for all activities related to water, sanitation and hygiene promotion.
Prepare accurate design drawings and bills of quantity for water & sanitation infrastructure at both house hold and public levels.
Supervise installation and start-up operations of water & sanitation infrastructures
Prepare, organize and regularly update relevant work plan (PMP) for the field activities,
Assist in the capacity building of CBOs and local actors in water and sanitation issues.
Assist in ensuring appropriate and sustainable development.
Train communities in maintenance and operation of schemes
Work closely with GOAL’s national partner to ensure community members are aware of and fulfill their roles responsibilities relating to the WASH projects.
Follow the implementation of the Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) through GOAL’s partner and ensure that all CLTS M&E forms are filled: Pre-triggering, triggering, follow-up, ODF verification.
Ensure proper documentation of CLTS project and contribute actively to lessons learned documentation.
Supervise directly the WASH team members.
Adapt tasks and responsibilities allocation within the WASH Program team to accommodate program requirements or specific situations.
Identify capacity building needs for staff and partners involved in the response. Take the lead on coordinating any formal or informal training for the WASH Program Team and partners.
Requirements:
Hold a recognized university degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
3+ years’ experience in various design, tendering and supervision of WASH field program, preferably including Community Led Sanitation approaches.
Previous work experience at least 1 year with Non-Governmental Organizations particularly in a WASH program management position.
Experience of work and partnership with local development actors,
Good computer skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.
Competency and experience in the use of the software packages for the preparation of engineering drawings (e.g. AutoCAD) is a must

General description of the role:
The Medical Supplies Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the proper management of all medicines, medical supplies and equipment, monitoring their consumption, analysis of consumption database is done regularly, ensuring proper records are maintained and reports on consumption prepared and submitted regularly.
Key Duties:
Responsible for ensuring the proper management of all medicines, medical supplies and equipment for GOAL’s health and nutrition program in South Kordofan State.
Work with Logistics team to ensure proper storage of medical drugs, supplies and equipment as well as good stores management practice.
Ensure that medicines and supplies are distributed monthly to all health facilities according to their actual needs.
Participate with the Logistics team to do stock check of all medicines and supplies in medical store as well as conduct physical drugs inventory at clinic level.
Ensure that all medicines and supplies received in the store and dispatched to the clinics are correctly recorded in stock cards.
Ensure that GOAL-supported health facilities are using correct procedures and documentation to receive, store, and disburse medical supplies
Review and update the monthly drugs consumption database then submit to the Area Health and Nutrition Coordinator on a monthly basis.
Analyze the consumption patterns of tracer medicines as well as other key medicines and supplies on quarterly basis and share analysis reports with Area Health and Nutrition Coordinator.
Ensure that the medical supplies stock management system (SMS) is updated on monthly basis and reports of any shortages of medicines, supplies and nutrition products are made to Area Health and Nutrition Coordinator in a timely manner.
Accountable for all the equipment, drugs and supplies in the medical store and work closely with Medical Supplies Officer to ensure that medicines and supplies are managed properly at clinic level.
Conduct support supervision visits to all GOAL supported health clinics to ensure proper management of drugs and medical supplies as well as do on job training for the dispensing staff so as to improve on the quality of services provision, including safe and rational use of medication and correct procedures of dispensers in the health facilities.
To ensure proper management of vaccines and supplies for immunization activities and ensure proper records management and reporting on usage of vaccines to SMOH.
Requirements:
Degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy.
A minimum of 4 years’ experience managing medical supply chains, including experience overseeing drug supplies for multiple, large and/or complex health facilities / systems.
Experience conducting drugs consumption analysis required
Experience with drug supply rules and compliance with major humanitarian donors / UN agencies strongly preferred
Computer skills including strong experience with Microsoft Excel and/or other database management software, as well as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and internet.

The Clinical Services Coordinator will be based in Kadugli and roving to all GOAL-supported clinic locations in all 6 localities. He or she will support the Area Health & Nutrition Coordinator to ensure the quality of care and effective management of health services in these facilities. The position will regularly visit all GOAL field locations in South Kordofan to monitor and supervise health services, as well as conducting analysis of quality of clinical services provided, preparing reports, liaising with ministry of health, supporting effective pipeline and documentation of medical supplies, and conducting on-job and formal trainings.
Key Duties:
Monitoring health facility services quality, ensuring compliance with MoH and donor guidelines, and identifying training and improvement needs in a timely manner.
