MPACT Initiatives is a leading Geneva-based think-and-do tank which aims to improve the impact of humanitarian, stabilisation and development action through data, partnerships and capacity building programmes. The work of IMPACT is done through its three initiatives: REACH, AGORA and PANDA.
With over 400 staff members, including assessment, data analysis, GIS experts and field professionals, IMPACT teams are present in over 20 countries across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America. IMPACT is a sister organisation of ACTED, a non-governmental organisation with headquarters in Paris.
IMPACT’s team includes 400 full-time professional working on our projects in +25 countries and in our headquarters in Geneva. Aside from ongoing projects, IMPACT deploys its staff to rapid-onset crises and disasters, supporting evidence-based and inclusive aid planning from the very beginning of emergencies to post-crisis environments.
IMPACT’s staff comprises of over 150 international professionals ranging from assessment, data analysis to geographic information system or GIS experts. Work in the field heavily relies on the experience of our 250 full-time national staff. Furthermore, our large-scale assessments and programmes are made possible by the contribution of hundreds of enumerators who are vital in supporting IMPACT with data collection and field research.

1- REACH Assessment Officer

We are currently looking for a REACH Assessment Officer to support our REACH team in Sudan

Under the supervision of the REACH Country Coordinator, the REACH Assessment Officer is responsible for the management and implementation of REACH assessments in Sudan including their preparation, implementation and follow-up. He/she will also be responsible for related logistics, partner coordination, reporting and finance requirements and will be required to provide input to the strategic development of REACH in Sudan.

2- REACH Data Officer

LEVEL: OFFICER
JOB FIELD: RESEARCH & ASSESSMENT
LOCATION: SUDAN
BASE: KHARTOUM

We are currently looking for a REACH Data Officer to support our team in Sudan.
IMPACT is seeking a versatile candidate, who has considerable experience analysing complex datasets with R and other coding language. In this role, the Data Officer will provide technical analysis support across all REACH research cycles in Sudan. The Data Officer’s tasks will require a high level of autonomy and ability to liaise with the assessment officer and external partners in country to lead on the coding for the survey tools, sampling frame, data cleaning, data analysis and production of visual analysis outputs (including maps if possible). GIS skills would be a plus.

3- Country Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Country Coordinator to support our team in Sudan
Under the supervision of IMPACT’s Executive Director in Geneva, the Country Coordinator is responsible for representing IMPACT and managing and developing IMPACT’s programs in Sudan. He/she leads the IMPACT team to achieve program excellence and ensure the highest level of accountability.
